Composition of one tablet: Praziquantel 0,050 g, Pyrantel pamoate 0,150 g, Febantel 0,150 g, and excipients to 0,650 g.
Formulation and packaging: Tablets -5 blisters with 10 tablets and user guide in a carton.
Action: For the treatment of mixed infections in dogs with tapeworms and roundworms caused by: long intestinal worms – Toxocara canis, Toxascara leonine; intestinal parasites up to 1 cm: – Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum; flagellum and nematodes – Trichuris vulpis; tapeworms – Echinococcus granulosus, Echinococcus multilocularis, Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp. Taenia multiceps, Mesocestoidesspp.
Indications: To deworm dogs teniozi and roundworms caused by immature and mature forms of Echinococcus spp. , Taenia spp., Dipylidium caninum, Mesocestoides corti, Toxocara cams, Toxascaris leonina, Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria Stenocephala, Trichuris vulpis.
Treatment with CANIDON is appointed: a mixed infection after the third week of birth based on the earliest occurrence of tapeworm in dogs.
Contraindications: The use of Canidon should not be subject to other antiparasitic agents /Piperazine /.
Undesirable effects: Very rarely the use of praziquantel has been reported in vomiting, anorexia, and diarrhea in dogs, but without serious consequences.
Overdose: Pyrantel Pamoate and Febantel are very well tolerated by dogs, even times an overdose of them there are no adverse side effects. There is no danger of death.
Special precautions for implementing the medicinal product to animals: Not required
Dosage: 5 mg Praziquantel, 15 mg Febantel, and 15 mg Pyrantel pamoate for 1 kg body weight or one (1) tablet for 10 kg body weight. The round, flat tablets with two cross-dividing lines on one side allow comfortable dosage. For example:
• to 2.5 kg or 5.5  lbs  – ¼  tablet
• 2.6 kg or 5.7 lbs  – 5 kg or 11 lbs  – ½ tablet
• 5.1 kg or 11.24 lbs  – 10 kg or 22 lbs  – 1 tablet
• 10.1 kg or 22.27 lbs  – 20 kg  or 44 lbs  – 2 tablets
• 20.1 kg or 44.31 lbs – 25 kg or 55 lbs – 2½ tablets
• 25.1 kg or 56 lbs – 30 kg or 66 lbs  – 3 tablets
• 30.1 kg or 67 lbs  – 40 kg or 87 lbs – 3½ tablets
• 40.1 kg or 88.4 lb  – 50 kg or 110 lb – 4 tablets
If the body is affected by long intestinal worms in puppies especially recommended re-treatment by the veterinarian at prescribed intervals to avoid the risk of infection in people in contact with treated animals.
Application: For veterinary use. It is used internally – directly or with some food for bait (meat sausage). No special diet.
Withdrawal period: Not required since the product is intended for productive animals
